Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection tells you something. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, the breadth is not narrow.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the alternative. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That will be a good addition when it lands.

What You Pay

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You deposit, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
