TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Pair that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
